![]() ![]() ![]() Megan Hunt (Delany) was once a star neurosurgeon who put in long, lifesaving hours to be the best, at the unfortunate expense of her family. ![]() Because "Body of Proof" is not much of a show without her. It's as if her new series were a music video - flowing hair, flirty winks, boots that were made for walking, serious costume changes - that ends with her saying, "How ya like me now?" She storms into "Body of Proof" with that sexuality not only in high gear (in one of the opening shots, the camera lingers on her legs as she gets out of the car) but also supported by a combination of icy and sassy that sets up an almost mythical character. Delany turned 55 this month and is very clearly still getting it done in the sexy department. This series seems absolutely catered for her - all the way up to the title. That's why shows like "Pasadena" in 2001 and "Presidio Med" in 2002 were looking to tap into her charms. She's had crazy screen presence since most people met her during "China Beach." And if anything, it's only grown more intense as she's aged. It's not too difficult to see why everybody wants to create a star vehicle for Dana Delany. Meanwhile, Peter advises Megan not to push too hard when it comes to reconnecting with her daughter, Lacey, on "Body of Proof," SUNDAY, APRIL 3 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Detectives Bud Morris and Samantha Baker are ready to chalk the case up to a murder-suicide, but Megan and her team find evidence on the bodies that sends the case in an entirely different and shocking direction. Megan Hunt promises the grieving parents that their daughter's killer will be found.
